Chill Out & Receive


Welcome to the Mindset Chick Podcast, I'm your host Kristi Dear. I am so happy to have you here. Today, our episode is going to be about chilling out and receiving. That means the more I relax, the more I have fun, the more I allow great things into my life, the more blessings, the more income. Doesn't that just sound amazing? We can get caught up so much in the hustle and bustle of life, waking up, maybe getting the kids out the door to school, getting ready to go work out or getting ready to go to our job, coming home, trying to clean up, cook dinner, or on the go, go, go, go. Busy,looking at our phones, looking at the TV, we make so much time to be busy, but how much time do we really make for stillness, for chilling out, for relaxing? And here is something really interesting, my friend, when you were in the hustle bustle, Go, go, go, do do-do energy, like I've mentioned before, you can be in an energy of overwhelm, of exhaustion, feeling run down, feeling stressed. And when we put that energy out into the world, it's difficult to manifest more of our desires because remember, what we attract back into our life is based on what we energetically put out into the world. So, there's a time to go, there's a time to do... There's a time to get things done, there's also a time for stillness.

• You never have time for you then it's not a balanced energy and you can feel out of alignment, like I mentioned, you can feel stressed, you can go run down, it's really, really important to have time to chill out, chill out. Take a little break. I tell some of my team members when they're coming to me and saying, You know, I've done all my action steps, I've showed up, I've done my work, I've done my mindset, and I'm really working on making this goal happen, and I have been on calls, I have been on social media, I've been talking to people. What do I do now? I say, now it's time to chill out and receive. (4:00)

• We kind of are in this instant gratification, sometimes instant gratification mode, so we want a goal to come to fruition, and we get in the... I gotta go, run 20 miles an hour, 50 miles an hour, and to the point of exhaustion and then not wanting to do anything at all. (5:37)

• Remember, we can't receive what we mentally can't accept, we can't receive more if we're so busy and run down and hustle and bustle energy, and we feel like we can't take any more to do. How are we going to receive more of anything? How are we going to receive more money, more clients, more customers, more business partners, if we can't even have time to be still for five minutes. (9:57)

• Do less, receive more. Be intentional with what you're doing. Be intentional when you're showing up, time blocking. I have time for my mindset, time for my action steps, time for my family, time for my friends, I have time for me, because when you chill out, you really do receive, and once again, it's your belief. So if you believe that when you're chilling out having fun, relaxing, you receive more income, more blessings were things in your life to allow your business to grow, guess what, you will. (13:05)
